In Harry Potter, why can house-elves Aparate in Hogwarts?

Hermione often reminds Ron and Harry that nobody can Aparate in Hogwarts. But in the sixth book,(and maybe in the others where I didn’t notice) Kreacher and Dobby Aparate and Disapparate throughout the castle all the time. Why are house-elves the acception to the spell put on the castle?

    Elf magic is different than wizard magic. It actually becomes a crucial part of one of the books… Wish I could remember which one…

    They’re very powerful creatures which is why alot of them are under the control of wizards. They’re actually more powerful than wizards because they can do magic without wands…it’s the same with Goblins. That’s why they’re not allowed to use wands.

    Dobby also apparates into Malfoy Manor in Deathy Hallows and there are alot of very powerful protective charms around it that Voldemort himself had cast.

    House elf magic is something completely different than wizard magic. That idea is very important throughout the sixth and seventh book.

    because hogwarts only has spells to prevent witches and wizards from apparating into hogwarts. the house elves have a different kind of magic.

    the reason they don’t block elves from coming in and out, i think, is because elves present no harm. elves don’t hurt the wizards, they only seek to help by cleaning and cooking and such

    Hermonie is right but it only applies to witches and wizards but house-elf magic is different from wizards magic because they don’t have to use wands also their magic is also stronger then witches and wizards

    Yay! A Harry Potter question! I’m so sick of ranting about twilight. Anyway, I don’t think they’re actually apparating. It might be something else. I’m not sure.
