I guess there’s gonna be a hogsmeade village and hogwarts castle and the forbidden forest at disneyworld in orlando florida. can you tell me any news you know about this?

    The Harry Potter Amusment Park will open in late 2009 or early 2010. It will be in the Islands of Adventures part of Universal Studios. There will be different rides and even a Hogwarts Castle.

    they have not release any additional information. so we have no idea about rides, attractions, etc. but if its anything like most parks, not all the rides will be ready by the time they open. and they will continue to open additional stuff a little at a time.

    I saw a news report on tv that said it was going to have an actual Hogwarts Express, which I thought meant it would have a real stream train, which would take you to the park or something (that sounded pretty cool) but it turns out its a roller coaster (still cool), that will “leave from platform 9 and 3/4″. I wonder if it will go through Hogwarts castle, or what? I wonder why they are having Hogsmeade instead of Diagon Alley? At any rate its going to be fun for all us muggles! I can’t imagine what the crowds are going to look like when it opens….
