You know how there’s sometimes a tunnel the you can walk through in a castle, attached to it, but still outside?
Like, in the second Harry Potter movie, when they drive the car to Hogwarts and it drives itself through a part of the castle before disappearing into the forest.
What’s that part of the castle called? It’s not a courtyard exactly.

the reason i ask, is because my parents recently visited Scottland and one of the pictures they showed me was of the railroad bridge used in the movies for the a Hogwarts Express train shots (the bridge they cross).

Imagine that instead of of wizardry and witchcraft school, Hogwarts School is: Hogwarts Preparatory School or The Hogwarts School. It is a small preparatory, boarding, private school. Still has all of the houses, the heads of the houses and everything about Hogwarts accept for the magic, its still in the castle and such.

If not, or even if so, describe your perfect school!
mine: HUGE castle, all stone and wood ceiling beams. marble or stone steps. HUGE painted glass windows, torches along all of the corridors. A huge great hall for breakfast lunch and dinners.
Fireplaces EVERYWHERE! Not that large, like thirty kids or so in each grade, so like 360 kids in the whole school (grades 1-12) huge grounds, stables, gardens, forests, pond/lake/river or ocean. And so on, pretty much like hogwarts!

So, Number One, DID he attend Hogwarts as a teenager? Number Two, “…his teeth were rather yellow.”? EW!

Does anyone else think JK Rowling’s lawsuit is absurd and greedy?

JK Rowling is listed #48 for the Forbes richest people in the US. She filed a lawsuit for $50,000 against Indian organizers who were building a replica castle to celebrate some festival there. What is she going to do next? File lawsuits against parents in the US who hold Harry Potter themed birthday parties?? I didn’t know she had a copyright for a Hogwarts castle blueprint, or Hogwarts in general. It’s absurd that she feels she needs to sue a non-profit festival, just to get a bit more $$ in her money grubbing pocket.
